Microsoft has put a hefty price tag on their upcoming motion sensor Xbox 360 peripheral, Kinect. It'll be yours for £129.99!
How much? That's £129.99, but with it you'll get the game Kinect Adventures! Those who don't have an Xbox 360 can get the all-new Xbox 360 4GB console, the Kinect sensor and Kinect Adventures packaged together for £249.99.
The 4GB console does come with built-in Wi-Fi (which wasn't expected), and 4GB of internal flash memory. The console itself will be £149.99 and is due for release on August 20th.
Kinect Adventures, lets players experience 20 adventures, navigating raging rapids and ducking and dodging through mountain top obstacle courses and exotic locations - no controller required.
"Kinect for Xbox 360 offers fantastic new ways to be entertained for the whole family," said Chris Lewis, vice president, Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft Europe. "With full body, voice and multiplayer play straight out of the box, Kinect is a unique way for everyone to enjoy controller-free fun and entertainment."
Microsoft says more than 15 games will be available for Kinect from launch, where "living rooms will become gyms, nightclubs and sports stadiums with a wide range of innovative and groundbreaking experiences."
The first party games will retail at £39.99, and include Kinectimals, Kinect Sports and "Kinect Joy Ride.
